Dace Alekna appointed CEO of BDA

As of September 21, Dace Alekna, the current Head of BDA’s Learning Solutions department, will take on the role of CEO of BDA. She succeeds Laima Ziediņa-Mikaljūna, who, after several years in a leadership role, will continue her professional career outside the company.
Over the past three years of BDA’s rapid growth, Dace Alekna has more than tripled the client base of the Learning Solutions department and expanded BDA’s offering with training in artificial intelligence, leadership, and personal development — all highly sought-after skills in today’s job market.
Under her leadership, the first Baltic-wide collaboration initiatives were also launched this year with the Estonian Training and Conference Centre and Lithuania’s innovation festival LOGIN. At the same time, customer service and training organisation processes have been further improved, ensuring a higher-quality experience for BDA’s clients and approximately 5,000 training participants each year.
As she takes on the role of CEO, Dace Alekna has identified strengthening the company’s competitiveness and further developing its learning solutions in line with changing market demands and client needs as key priorities.
