Multi-generational team collaboration in the AI era
Currently, there are already 3 to 4 different generations working within one team, starting from the post-war generation and ending with representatives of Generation Z.
Different work styles, attitudes towards work and colleagues, communication, as well as the availability of digital tools create disagreements, misunderstandings, even conflicts among team members. An even greater challenge and at the same time an opportunity is the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) tools into the work environment.
This workshop is a unifying event for teams representing different generations, so that they better understand their strengths, take into account differences in generational attitudes and find out how AI can help or harm intergenerational cooperation.
Course target
To develop understanding and practical skills about:
- the differences and strengths of team members represented in a team, depending on the generation they represent;
- better communication, liaison, between representatives of different generations in an environment dominated by AI and digital tools;
- decision-making when to choose AI and/or human intelligence;
- building an inclusive work culture in an AI-enabled environment, where AI elitism and prejudices against representatives of different generations arise.
Audience
Teams:
- that consist of 3 or more generations;
- in which collaboration, and therefore productivity, “stagnates” due to different generational perceptions of how “properly” to collaborate and communicate;
- in which digital tools are used, and now also the capabilities offered by AI;
- in which AI tools are being introduced into their operations.
At course completion you will be able to:
- Understand the possibly different work, communication style, tone, and attitude towards digital tools and AI of other members of your team.
- Understand how to better communicate with younger or older colleagues using AI tools.
- Understand that the best results can be achieved by combining both natural (human) and artificial intelligence.
- Create a work culture that allows representatives of all generations to feel accepted and understood.
