Course Target
Enhancing knowledge and developing practical skills in digital accessibility requirements to ensure their implementation at every stage of a project — from idea and design to development and maintenance — promoting:
- accessibility of information and ease of use;
- compliance with regulations;
- adherence to digital accessibility requirements;
- consideration of user needs.
Audience
At Course Completion you will be able to
- Understand the essence of digital accessibility and the core principles of inclusive design.
- Identify and remove barriers faced by people with various functional impairments.
- Apply WCAG principles and best practices in web and mobile application development, as well as in digital content creation.
- Create and test accessible documents (Word, PDF) and multimedia content (audio/video).
- Conduct accessibility evaluations using automated tools and manual testing methods, including user testing.
- Plan accessibility in projects, procurement processes, and organizational workflows.
- Communicate professionally about the role of digital accessibility in the quality of digital products and services.
- Formulate well-reasoned arguments on the importance of digital accessibility within the context of your organization.
