Course Target

To promote the development of knowledge and skills in digital project and initiative management, emphasizing social media management, the use of digital tools in project management, visual content development and cybersecurity aspects.

The program ensures the development of digital competencies up to level 4 in accordance with the DigComp 2.2. framework. The training provides the necessary skills for the application of digital tools in project management and ensuring cooperation in everyday and non-standard situations.

  • Small and medium-sized entrepreneurs;
  • Self-employed individuals;
  • NGO representatives;
  • Socially active citizens, community leaders and other interested parties;
  • Active young people and seniors who want to develop initiatives and effectively manage digital projects using innovative and modern tools.
At Course Completion you will be able to:
  • Plan, monitor and control the progress of the project using online project management tools and KPI dashboards.
  • Develop social media and email campaigns for target audience engagement and regular communication.
  • Organize teamwork and information flow with surveys, collaboration and fundraising platforms.
  • Create attractive visual materials and a simple project website using WordPress/Wix, Canva or AI tools (DALL-E, MidJourney).
  • Ensure digital hygiene, data and personal information protection, as well as secure social network configuration in project work.
Prerequisites
  • Basic computer and internet skills.
  • Active email and experience in managing at least one social media account (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram or X).
  • Experience in implementing small projects or participating in NGO, corporate or community initiatives is desirable.
  • Computer with administrator rights (for installing browser extensions and tools).

Certification exam

After completing the curriculum content and achieving the desired outcomes, there is an opportunity to take a final exam in the form of a multiple-choice question test.

To receive a certificate of completion of the curriculum and successful completion of the exam, at least 50% of all questions must be answered correctly.

Course outline

1. Project Management Fundamentals

  • Project management methodologies and basic principles, online tools;
  • Planning, monitoring and control of key project indicators;
  • Principles of cooperation with the project team, project participants and stakeholders.

2. Social Media Management and Public Engagement for the Implementation of an Idea/Project/Initiative 

  • Informing the public about the progress of the project on various platforms with the involvement of the target audience;
  • Creating e-mail campaigns and preparing email messages for the needs of the project;
  • Digital communication with stakeholders (operational communication between residents).

3. Project Management with Digital Tools 

  • Creating surveys and obtaining opinions on the project work with online tools (Google Docs, Google Forms, Slido, Menti.com, etc.);
  • Organizing the team’s daily work by using digital tools;
  • Financial aspects, including digital tools for attracting donations, funding, ticket sales etc.

4. Development of Visual Materials for the Project 

  • Development and publishing of an informative project website on WordPress or Wix;
  • Development of visual project promotion materials using AI tools (Dall-E, MidJourney).

5. Cybersecurity and Data Protection Aspects 

  • Digital hygiene in daily work in projects;
  • Company and project data protection;
  • Personal data protection;
  • Information security when working with AI tools;
  • Safe usage of social media, checking security settings on platforms.
